4 Honest questions you need to ask before you share your music or videos on social media

1. Does it represent you in a way that you are proud of yourself? If not, what do you need to fix to do that?

Honestly, this is the MOST important part of this section.  Learning to self identify your shortcomings is one of the most valuable tools you will ever learn in life, not just music.

2. Is it presented well? Can you see down your throat, up your nose, down your shirt, or your dirty clothes?

If you answered yes to any of those, fix up your image, adjust your video angle and redo the video.

3. Is there glare, grainy picture, feedback, a weird clicking noise, humming from the refrigerator?

I you answered yes to any of those, fix it and redo the video or recording.  These issues can be fixed easily by changing the lighting by turning a lamp on or off or switching which room you record in.

4. Does your style and message come across strongly?

If not, identify what you need to do to make you and your song POP!  Have someone who knows you well, is supportive, and you trust watch or listen before you post it. Watch them watch it and see how you feel about the response and get feedback.  This is invaluable
